Is there a reliable/accurate weather app for the Curve that can be started right from the home screen? I have tried world mate live, but didn't like all the steps I had to go through to finally see the weather and/or forecasts...Thanks

| Re: Weather
You can use the webshortcuts application http://www.jonathanhfisher.co.uk/b2/?p=17 , then direct one shortcut to the mobile wunderground site http://mobile.wunderground.com/. I usually just copy the page that has my zip code already inserted. There you have a one step weather app. Also with radar. |

I have used Journal Bar for 9 months now and love it! It puts an icon on your home screen that displays the current temperature. Click on the icon to open the app to see current conditions, forecasts, radar, and satellite images. It also has a built in rss reader and stock tracker. And their customer support is outstanding!

| Re: Weather
From my Version Tracker List: BBWeather: 0.74 - OTA Great app, multiple locations, fast, FREE! Note that if you exit it by hitting [Esc] it will keep running in the background, and will continuously update the current conditions every 30-240 minutes, and the forecast every 120-240 minutes. The only thing it's missing is radar. |

You're T-Mobile. Go to Links: Blackberry HELP: and find "Weather Push" near the bottom. It's good ap and can be started from the home screen. It's a quick 5-day forcast and you can set it to different locations for other forcasts.

| Re: Weather
Katwalk, thanks for suggesting Journal Bar. It looks pretty cool, except the local temperature says 40 and every other source says 36, even after I update it. Anyone else use Journal Bar?

| Re: Weather
Maybe use BBWeather and get a different theme that lists all the icons under the home screen instead of subfoldering it. The at&t theme did that. Infuriating. Just my personal choice. Your mileage might vary.

| Re: Weather
I think an application that tells the current weather based on current GPS location would be nice.
