try this app, its not free, but from what i hear, it is the way to go for running apps off the media card.

You cant run them off the media card, you can only store the install package, and install the program when you want to use it, then unistall it to free up your internall memory again. There are some programs that I really dont use all that often but are nice to have if you need it.

I tried a couple of them, and cant get logged on by way of phone browser or opera... But if you found the right one, I dont see why not... I think the whole Idea though is so that:

You dont have to try and find the link again.
Card install is faster than OTA
You dont have to hook up to the PC to install.

So it is a great alternative, since its fairly fast to install the program, except for when you have to reset after the install.

Mobile FTP can be used on any BlackBerry device with:
For remote file and folder access: v4.0.2 or higher of the BlackBerry system software
For remote and local file and folder access: v4.2 or higher of the BlackBerry system software
    A wireless data plan
a minimum of 32 MB of memory

I hope this is not the one, I would have to get rid of almost everything just to make room for it...

But you still have to install OTA which is one thing we are trying to get rid of.

And you have to be able to store your file on an FTP server, for it to work.

I dont see anywhere that it says it can install onto your SD card, but you can put the install file on your SD card... Big difference there.

It aslo has a 3 of 10 rating.
