I just tested the new feature, but it did not work. On the start of my test event, Profiler did bring up Profile; but failed to witch to (click on) the correct profile. It just stuck to the original profile. I have tested it twice with the same result. My BB is 8320 running 4.5.0.81.
make sure the Event Injection permission is set in the Options->advanced->applications for Profiler are to ALLOW

Thanks, Smiley88. Did not realize that I have to set the permission after the update. After setting permission, it works great. Thanks.

Smiley88, I found another problem. I only set two key words (both start: quiet, end: vibrate). It seems that the default profile (start: loud, end: loud) of empty keyword slots is automatically added to the next appointment that does not contain keyword. I hope I'm making myself clear and you understand what I mean.

they are default. if you dont put in a keyword then those keywords are not used.

But when I create a new event with a keyword, Profiler automatically adds a temporary profile (corresponding to the profile of the first empty keyword) to my next appointment that does not contain a keyword.

Basically you can put in a keyword in the subject/summary area in the calendar appt and Profiler will switch the start and end profile. do not put more than one keyword in the subject/summary area

1 in Profiler goto the app menu and select Calendar Keywords
2 add the keywords you want to use in the calendar and select the start and end profiles
3 once you have added all your keywords run the Calendar app and put in a keyword in the Subject/Summary textfield and save the appt

now when the appt goes off Profiler will set the start and end profile for this appt.

here is the OTA install www.toysoft.ca/beta/Profiler.jad
I went to the link/website and downloaded the version 1.1.2
but it said I already have that version on my bb.
But I downloaded anyway, but I keep getting the Profiler Expired message.
Is this the right version, for the calendar support?

if you are not a paid user and Profiler expires then you will have to purchase Profiler.

I ran into this while testing also, but I forgot to mention it to the author; instead I populated all the remaining keywords with gibberish keywords (actually, I used AAAAA, BBBBC, CCCCC, etc. and set them all to start-vibrate and end-vibrate. All the undesired temporary profile problems then stopped.

PS - it took a while because there seemed to be some character limitation in the keyword field where it would overflow and not allow me to exit out or save the keywords, but I think 5 letters worked.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. I thought it was another beta testing.
I haven't decided if I'm getting it yet or not.

Simley88,
Any fix on the issue without using Klotar's methods?

Why would the profiles not change while in the holster?

because you can not use Key Injection while its in the Holster and when the device is locked. this is RIM's security restriction.

Are you running 1.1.3? I believe that Smiley fixed this in that version.
