Did the upgrade and notice the profiles I already had were deleted. Nice to see that you added up to 10 custom profiles in the options. On Profilers main page listing the names of the profiles that I set up. I see small the S,M,T,W,T,F,S under the red check. Like you show in the screen shoot (message #18) above. But all of them are there on a profile that I just set up for Saturday, I can't see anything different on mine. They all look the same. Maybe on that page that shows the profiles you created, you can have the times and just days that they are in affect? Also how about a "save" option in the menu section. I know when you click out/back after setting/editing a profile, a pop up window opens asking to save it. But I think adding one in the menu would be easier and you know for sure that it is saved and ready to use. |

on the main screen the days are showing in purple indicating that these days are active. by default when you create a new profile all the days are active. you can edit the profile and uncheck the days. Ok. Will add Save and cancel buttons. |

Just downloaded this great app Just one question though I saw it was already asked (but I missed the answer or maybe there wasn't one). All I really want to do is set up an overnight profile switch. But there are specific dates below each profile. But there are also the "S m t w th fr sat" for the days Do I have to even bother with the specific days or can I just use the weekday check box options? I need it to switch every night I just didn't want to have to setup a rule to do it weekly. Or am I mis-understanding what the dates are for? Sweet looking app though. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Last edited by luciferseamus; 09-10-2008 at 10:20 PM. |

Is there a free app that does this same thing? I don't have money to spend on applications and this is useful and would utilize this everyday...anybody know of a "free" one like this? Thanks. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

here is the latest beta version with calendar keyword support. Basically you can put in a keyword in the subject/summary area in the calendar appt and Profiler will switch the start and end profile. do not put more than one keyword in the subject/summary area 1 in Profiler goto the app menu and select Calendar Keywords 2 add the keywords you want to use in the calendar and select the start and end profiles 3 once you have added all your keywords run the Calendar app and put in a keyword in the Subject/Summary textfield and save the appt now when the appt goes off Profiler will set the start and end profile for this appt. here is the OTA install www.toysoft.ca/beta/Profiler.jad |

Hi, Smilely88, I just tested the new feature, but it did not work. On the start of my test event, Profiler did bring up Profile; but failed to witch to (click on) the correct profile. It just stuck to the original profile. I have tested it twice with the same result. My BB is 8320 running 4.5.0.81. |
