I'm looking for software that will automatically adjust the time and events in my 7290 based on my time zone. Haven't found any yet....

Hmm....I'm not sure of any but I'll see if I can find some.

On the other hand, pocketday by Cross River Systems have Timezones that you can set to show up so you know the time at a specific zone.

As far as I know you still have to do this manually.

To manualy change the time on BlackBerry units, select Option and Date and Time Zone.

I'll look into this a bit more though.

You can go into the options and set the device to the Network Time for the timezone you're currently in. This should change your calander time as well.

What is really needed is an app for the Blackberry that is the same as the Palm app "City Time Alarms". This program can set multiple alarms in multiple time zones. I travel internationally alot and this is the killer app for my palm, since I can set an alarm to get up at 7am Zurich time and the app converts it to an alarm for the palm without having to make me manually adust the time zone and without me having to "do math" when I'm jetlagged in Bejing.

I've looked but I haven't found such an app for the Blackberry.

I'm not sure I understand either of these. If you set an appointment for a given time in a given time zone, then the time will adjust to the correct time when you change the time zone. It works just like Outlook, just be sure to set the correct time zone in the event. Can't remember if this worked this way with the 7290, but I believe mine did.

Bigguy, it's built in to the calendar.
