i used to think blackberry alerts was the most useful and best application for my blackberry.it's still a close second but since having the profile switcher for about 3 weeks now i don't see how i survived without it.no more changing profiles when you go to bed,go to church or go to an important meeting.there is nothing worse than sitting in the dentists chair with a needle in your mouth and all the sudden your berry starts playing"hit me with your best shot"(youngsters might not know that one).you probably already have the dentist appointment in your calendar so all you have to do is attach a profile(vibe,silent or whatever) to your appointment.i can't imagine being a student and not having this app.put your classes in your calendar and attach a profile to them and never get embarrassed in class again by your berry going off.this and bbalerts should be the first two applications anyone should buy for their berrys in my opinion.


another great thing about the profile switcher is that it was developed by one of our own stackers mdwheaton.....and by the way,he's not paying me anything to post this.

Definitely seems very helpful.. Gotta love the song you have for when you are at the dentist, without a doubt you don't want your BB to be singing that song, your dentist might say "ok.. Since you want it that bad, no anesthetic for you!"

it works great.just remember if your phone is holstered it will vibrate and change profiles upon removal from the holster.
