This was announced here about a week ago. They're planning to release it on March 9.

Do you know how much they will charge once out of beta?

We all curious. They're not revealing the price - all they say is that it will be "reasonable" or something like that. We'll know on the 9th if they follow through with their release plans.

I'm using the beta and its great. No setup required, just download the app to your pc and BB and run the app from your BB and that's it. Easy, works well and no extra $ for tethering fees. Makes having a Bold even better.

Well, if this is legit and the application is all it's stacked up to be, might be worth the investment. Just wonder if the carriers that are now charging additional fees for tethering plans will become privy to this and somehow find a way to charge for it.

I don't see how they can get you other than if you go over your max. My use of it would be so occasional that I don't see a problem. When I'd need it would not be often - just necessary.

You and I have been chatting about this for a couple of weeks, JB. They haven't shut down the wireless here at work just yet, but this could be the solution I was looking for. You gonna get it?

I'm gonna get it Roger. I'm out now but as soon as I get near a p-c I'm on it. I can use it and I'm not paying another monthly fee if I can avoid it.
