Wait so is this supposed to make your Soft Reset application work on 4.5 OS? I just followed your steps and still can't get mine to work...

yes it should work it worked on my wifees 8100 i deleted softreset first to have a clena slate and then reinstalled

It worked for me on my 8120 & 4.5.0.42 Waht else does this allow that it was tuned off?

I can confirm this is working on a standard 8100 running 4.5.0.37, without requing any re-install. Nice.

this one works for me
install softreset
options - advanced - applications
softreset, edit permission to allow to all field

then edit default permission, AND set ALLOW to ALL

tried getting it to work again by uninstalling then reinstalling but i still get the "uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalargumentexception" error.
