Thumbs up Six Cool, FREE BlackBerry Apps

A while back I posted a forum entry on an article that offered up six cool, and perhaps more importantly FREE, BlackBerry apps.

Here's a follow up to that article with another half-dozen free apps, including voice search programs and an app to install and updates, as well as provide icons for, all of Google's mobile services.

I'm also a big Twitter fan, and I think the mobile Twitter client in the article might be better than the one I've currently got.

Check it out. And this link will work if you're using a BlackBerry browser.

What is your favorite third-party app for BlackBerry?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I have three apps that I use at least hourly...

    1. Jivetalk IM client - the best $29 bucks I have ever spent on my Crackberry.

    2. Viigo newsreader

    3. WeatherEye (weather network) current conditions and forecast client.

These are the most handy apps I use. The last two being completely FREE for personal use.

Thanks for the link. I had no idea google offered a synchronization program like Google Mobile Updater so I'll have to give that a shot.

2 is not equal to 3, not even for large values of 2.

bb today can be found in the downloads section, though if you have my luck, I had to install 3 times to get the weather to work and I had to manually update it every time...

Agreed. Viigo is awesome. I also use Google Maps very frequently, as well as TwitterBerry and TinyTwitter...
