I'm not sure if I'm in the right spot or not but i'll give it a try! I downloaded and installed the new software that came with the Roxio suite. When I hit update, it doesn't work what-so-ever! Anyone else encounter this problem? Looking for a solution otherthan uninstalling and re-installing. Thanks!

okay, i had a change of heart after i saw the built-in video conversion. sure there's other ways to get video on your bb, but nothing this easy or reliable. it's till a bloated resource hog, but the video conversion makes it worth it.

Did anyone experience a system bog down while running RMM, even with the "Watch" folders turned off?

Re: Roxio Media Manager Tips and Tricks

I notice a considerably lag in my mouse from time to time as well when Media Manager is open.

Quick question tho. I have a 1gb card in my Pearl but with Mass Storage on, off and prompt I can't get Roxio to see the card.

    Thoughts?

    TIA

Thanks, looks like I missed something that is a recurring problem with my XP system.

When I add new memory cards, SD, Flash etc, they all try to take over drive letter (H) and that's my home drive on the network.

Once I went into Disk Management and re-assigned the card to a unused letter it showed up in Roxio

Pretty nice little addition to the DM

DTM 4.2.1 Media Manager had the ability to encrypt files (if set on the handheld). Has anyone tried this with the Roxio Manager. If I can't figure this out my company is going to disable the SD cards on the Server.

Re: Roxio Media Manager Tips and Tricks

Does anyone know of a way to have Roxio convert without putting it on the BB yet? I'd rather not have to have my BB connected when I am converting videos.

I've been using Imtoo 3gp Video Converter and Super: Both work but I have yet to find settings that work as well as roxio. If we can get Roxio to encode videos in the background, then we can use BT file transfer or a quick connection of the SD card to get an already encoded video onto the device.
