Well, I'm on T-Mobile so all is good for me, I did open up the service book provided in the first post with a hex editor though and noticed a few things. There are a few instances in the file where it says "TMO" .. maybe this file could be edited so it could be used with other providers? I'll leave this to someone else since I'm on T-Mobile and would have no way to test it. It's a very small file.

OKAY!!! I have ATT and I do not wish to delete things I am unsure of yet. I suppose I will wait and see what happens with the carrier. Hopefully they will get on the ball.

Most likely they aren't going to get around to allowing AIM. I have 8310 and AIM on it...but I have TMO as a carrier so it definately AT&T.

Not sure if this process works for AT&T customers though.

Thanks so very much this works great with my 8100. Windows Live Messenger sure takes a long time and many tries to login but everything else is really quick. Thanks again for the info and files.

Tried this on Telus Mobility. Install was great, but its not working. I tried WLM, and i get
Connection Error(65):
Problem recieving data from the server.

Anyone have any suggestions? Checked the service books and they're all there.

Telus doesn't have a listed APN. Also the BB is running on a bes.
