RIM BlackBerry Goes Yahoo!

Yahoo! Inc. and the stockmarket highflyer RIM (Research In Motion) launched a business relationship to provide Yahoo! Messenger service to RIM BlackBerry users worldwide.

Through this business relationship, the Yahoo and RIM aim to pre-install full-color, graphical Yahoo! Messenger clients on BlackBerry devices in the coming months.

BlackBerry users will be able to access and connect with everyone on their friends buddy list while they are travelling.

I have accounts for all of them. I typically use AOL and Messenger, but that may change if Yahoo comes built into the BB OS and won't use the SMS transfer.

I wouldn´t include BBMessenger to that list, since it is already from RIM (if you mean the partnerships between RIM and yahoo/others...)

I wonder if this will affect cingular I was told cingular doesn't support yahoo!

bb messenger is the easiest for me becuse i don't have to worry about being signed on/off, and error in connecting to the hetwork
