If i'm reading that right.. priceing is 1 user $1.45 and each additional user is $1.00. that has to be a misprint..

Re: Remote Control of the BlackBerry: B*Remote

In Germany the "." us used to seprate thousands while the "," as seperator for decimal places.
So yes, 1.260 would mean 1260

Bye the way, this is how this works:

    - The user is starting the B*Remote Client on the Device. He has to click on "Connect" in there. This makes the BlackBerry able for remote control as it appears in the B*Remote Web Applicationserver (usually placed on the intranet)
    - THe user help desk logs on to the B*Remote Web Applicationserver and is able to see all devices connected to THIS Server
    - The user is ALLWAYS able to quit the remote Control by pushing the Disconnect Button in the B*Remote Client.
    - There is no hidden backdoor to bypass the Connect to the Application server.

I personally think this will be great for all user help desks. Even the pricing is quite fair because its licensing only counts the number of administrators logged into the admin interface of the application server, NOT by the number of controlled devices or even the numer of rolled out R*Remote clients. Usually that means most company only need one or maybe two licenses at all....

Hope this is usefull, if you got questions ask me. today is the second day of CWTE and I´ll be able to check everything out....

Re: Remote Control of the BlackBerry: B*Remote

What exactly are your worries ?

    - Data transfer is via MDS, that means its encrypted
    - Remote View or Control will not be available to anyone until You (!) start the B*Remote Client on your device
    - You can disconnect the session at any time

    Go ahead and ask !
