I just realized I made a mistake regarding the original question for this thread. Litefeeds is not a push RSS client. It follows a pull model.

Litefeeds is a pull model. i like the program and web interface. What's up with not being able to close the program with the esc. key though?

| Re: Push RSS newsreader
I just downloaded a trial of NewsClip onto my 7105t to keep up with the site (forums and other sections) but I need to know what to put in for the address so I can add it to the list of BB feeds. Help?

I have an 8800 and I keep getting "unknown error". I installed piconews, set up an account, and when I try to synchronize subscriptions I get this error. Anybody? |

I believe Newsclip has a time function where it will go out and retrieve new articles from your specified feeds, I have it search every 8 hours.

OK, first post, and BB newbster. YOu gotta try FreeNews. Rocks hard. Sooo much better than one of the ones mentioned above. But it's a subscription model - $20/yr, and seems totally worth it. It looks and works a *lot* better than the illustration on their page. Great keyboard control. All it needs is 'jump to next unread and it would be absolutely perfect. So glad I found it. And you can manage the feeds and folders on the web site, or on the BB. Ooops, I'm such a noob that I can't post links - goto: freerangeinc dot .... (No affiliation at all) (oh, and it's push) |
