My guess is that it got stuck trying to update. Other apps that I've got won't kill it like that though, and they weren't on last night anyway.
No doubt it was this. I had device charging up until I went in.

Going to keep eye on it tonight. I hate to day it but that could be a deal breaker. I have no way to charge while @ work. Still don't like to turn phone off, just in case. Guess that's my fault.

Mine isn't killing the battery. I have update interval set to 30 min. and the app now has been running nearly 24 hours.

so far here's what it does for me, it will not update unless i hit the bbkey to enter my app menu and then exit out... thats when it updates...

other than that... update intervals are working just fine... the homescreen display is giving a proper temperature and a time accurate to the observation time...

mostly seems to be working quite well now...
Same here about the icon, transport issue fixed, no battery drain( running for 24 hrs, still 40% of batt life,
    Quik note
The icon updates instantaneusly at home scn when using wifi with radio off or on

You're a big help red (so am I).
Funny how something like this can trigger the desire.
Really like this app, showed it to cas and she liked as well. Still gotta get her BerryBuzz.
Its funny, wasn't until it came out I was willing to buy an app. I think it was the fact that Bellshare goes through this that swayed me. Hell, I struggle to catch everything in this thread, couldn't imagine having to try and fix what's found.

    Hats off to 'em.

I can definitely agree with how much effort bellshare puts into their apps... I just wish instango would work... I love berrybuzz and my super cool LEDs n would love to have this weather app as well (sadly I don't have the ability to purchase anything from here in pakistan)...

Can't someone use your pin and just purchase here, send you the activation code?
I don't understand why you can't buy. (Prob should wait, don't want to get thread off track).

They do an sms pop up (think peek@who) I'm in.
Maybe an RSS reader. Hmmmmm, maybe I'll avoid the rush and just give them my paycheck.

Anyway, no more major issues with Weather from my 8900.

    Lol!!

No more issues with me either. Maybe battery drain was with the constant attempt at updating but not. Getting through. Everything is great here.
