I tried it for a day or two just to make sure it worked. I wasn't able to really get into the full functionality of it though.

I tested the calling feature with nimbuzz's skype client and it works ok. I also tried the calling feature on googletalk client and it was ok.

Well, you should add GoogleTalk that with transports is as good as any multi-network client.

Hi, I just downloaded Ramble IM and so far, I haven't had any problems. Just out of curiosity, when I use Ramble, am I getting charged per text or per kb used?

guess you missed it in the first post that said OZ IM is the only client which uses your SMS/text messages instead of DATA... therefore Ramble is data usage.

    Re: Popular Instant Messaging Clients

hi guys, i am having problems downloading the jive app onto my BB. i manged to download the zip file onto my vist PC and finally managed to extract the files (a little touch and go with vista) however did that. finally when i tried to add it to the applications on the DM the following error came up.

"NO APPLICATION DESIGNED FOR YOUR DEVICE WAS FOUND"

the applicaion i downloaded was Download JiveTalk Desktop Installer for BlackBerry OS 4.3 or 4.2and i have the 8310 so i think i chose the right one.

    whats gone wrong here guys?

    Re: Popular Instant Messaging Clients

Previously i used bb's yahoo messenger and occasionally gtalk. Tried jivetalk on a trial-basis. It took me less than an hour to decide to take on its full device license....awesome tool
