Sorry if this has been asked or gone through before, can I open PDF files with the standard BB or do I need some extra software?

On BES you can. May be posible on BIS someone else can comfirm.

Yeah, I thought you can open attachments even on BIS. I know I've worked with one of our users on BIS, he was able to open a word attachment and pdf file on his 7290.

I also confirmed with our bb rep, as long as you have the latest software on your device, everything should be good. Hope this helps.
