operamini help- I think i know the problem

so i was having trouble with opera mini it always failed to connect to the net on my bberry 8800. they told me to enter the apn settings for airtel (my carrier) i did but i did not know how to enter dns settings can someone tell me how

You should just need the APN, username, and password. I've never entered any DNS settings. Be sure to try a battery-pull after saving your settings.

In opera mini goto settings and go to the bottom and run network setup. See if that helps you out.

I have all the settings but after it runs set up, it says "failed to connect to the internet". I have tried 3.1 and now beta but sames results. Woked perfectly on my Pearl but can't get it to work on the 8800. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
