    Lightbulb Opera Mini issues

I tried to download Opera Mini 4 onto my 8320 and after it downloads, when i open it up it says "installing" it asks me to allow to accept a low level something and then it asks to access the network. I say yes to both of the above and it then says unable to connect. I've downloaded it several times and it still doesn't work. Hoping to receive some help with this situation.

Have you configured your APN to wap.voicestream.com (under TCP settings). Username and password should be blank.

That setting is needed in order for your 3rd party apps to access data services. Now that you have set it you should be fine for future additions as well.

Most BlackBerry software can utilize the BlackBerry access point (Internet settings), however some poorly-written software titles (such as Opera Mini) are only able to use your service provider's access point (Internet settings), which is not usually configured by default...

Just be careful - most service providers will charge you for data sent and received with their access point (Internet settings), rather than the BlackBerry access point (Internet settings); data sent and received via a service provider's access point (Internet settings) is rarely included in the "unlimited Internet" component of your plan, if your plan is in fact unlimited (most BlackBerry plans are).

By the way, if you specify your service provider's access point (Internet settings) as shown above, most BlackBerry software will almost always try to use the BlackBerry access point (Internet settings) first; most software will only use your service provider's access point (Internet settings) if they are unable to connect using the BlackBerry access point (Internet settings)...

Dont worry, TMO/USA will not charge you any addtional fees for your usage or Opera, etc.
