    Opera Mini and APN settings

    Hello everyone,
I d/l'd Opera mini and I like it a lot. My fiance saw it and has been bugging me to d/l it to her BB. I read somewhere to check APN settings before using. Is this to make sure im not charged more? I have at&t unlimited data plan. What should I do to make sure everything is ok?

your apn is the name of your access point to the internet, i have cincinnati bell wireless so i use "wap.gocbw.com", att depending might use just the word "proxy" or "wap.cingular.com". that is what i read for att anyways, if that doesn't work all you have to do is call 611 ask for tech and they can tell ya. could also try a google for att blackberry apn settings, i cannot post web addresses or i'd send a few

AT&T does not charge for using the TCP settings.
Here are the settings you need, it is case sensitive so it exactly as posted below:
    APN: WAP.CINGULAR
    Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
    Password: CINGULAR1

Remove your battery and reboot afterwards.

Is there a simple way to test if these settings are working on my Blackberry? I have an application that offers Direct TCP/IP as an update option but when I set the app to use that I get a message that the update failed.
    Thanks!
