Non BES Web Content Blocker

Have several BB devices (varying types - mainly 8700c and alike) - we don't run BES server, we just use Desktop Redirector. The devices are also web enabled of course and I am wondering about content blocking (porn mainly) because these are still work issued devices. We are using Opera Minia as the browser - does anyone know of any applications or services that are available for content blocking?

Thanks!

I don't think there is. It's something that would have to be done at the BES level.

Have you looked at BlackBerry Unite!? It won't block site access, but it will allow you to monitor what websites have been visited.

How many devices do you have? BlackBerry Professional software might be worth looking in to. Its a free software download from rim and they give you your first licesnse free and then you just have to pay for each license after that. It allows you to manage devices just like a BES and it will allow you to have up to 30 devices. Plus desktop redirector has a lot of restrictions that would be eliminated by using the BlackBerry Professional Software.

Yes, anyone can use BlackBerry Professional Software. But as he stated, only the first license is free.
