well thank you mysmyrrh, to everyone else most radiostation work with the other two programs. I was unaware that these depend on your location. I would imagine thats not the case. I would guess that it depends on A-your signal strength (network connection) and B- how many listeners there are at given time since streaming internet radio stations can only handle so many users. Smaller stations allow less users. This thread is for help with all THREE apps. Personally, i don't really use RadioBee (v1.1) i prefer MFRadio and MWebPlayer. With Both of those, there is no need to set all the different settings for success. MWebplayer does allow you to adjust buffer size and whether your phone is unlocked. For any new users. Basically if you have a data plan, just copy the URL (htt://xx.xxx.xx.xxx:etc) and paste in to the programs whether editing existing stations (radiobee) or creating new ones (mfradio and MwebPlayer) I apologise i will be pulling a 12 hour shift until 2:30 AM today so feel free to post questions and i will respond here and there until after i get off work and by the way I'm Using the Pearl with the Italian OS with TMO Last edited by j llama; 04-21-2007 at 02:43 PM. Do any of these work with an 8703e when configured to a BES?

Hmm I'm not sure on that one. My suggestion is to download say MFRadio and give it a whirl. I guess it would determine whether your bes admin has a firewall setup to block 3rd party apps and their network connections. via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Let us know how it goes |

Hello, I am mWebPlayer Author. Glad to know that somebody is interesing in my program :-) I want to clarify this issue with saving added stream stations. Demo version does not allow to save your cahnges in playlust after exiting the app. If you want to do this you should buy full version. And one more. There is Feedback Book on my site. If you have any notes, comments, suggestions please leave there your message. Thanks. Sergey |

Thanks for the info sergey, so the price is $13 I believe. I would like more info about the live365 streams. I think you have a great program, just needs a few tweaks. Great site Serg Very informative Last edited by j llama; 04-22-2007 at 02:18 PM. |

Okay after some more testing.... MWebPlayer takes the cake for best "sound quality" app I'm running unlocked mode, safe mode, with a buffer size of 40. Except for the occasional hiccup which is normal for streaming radio to a phone, it really sounds much sharper, not fuzzy or garbled like the other 2 apps |

with mwebplayer, press the option button to the left of trackball it then allows you to volume up and down (if only the volume keys on the BB worked for this app......) |

From what I understand, I think you need MP3 capabilities on the BB for it to work ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

when trying to select a different buffer option in the MWebPlayer options menu i cant get the cursor to select the right circle. It will only scroll to the 5 and then skips past the rest of the options...is there a special way to select these...im using the pearl

Yes there is a special way to select the buffer size! Directly below the circles with the buffer size numbers is the word "custom". Just type the number you want, and it will be highlighted in the coresponding circle above.
