Took me an hour to get my BB up and running again yesterday. I think I will stay away from things that say "experimental" in the future. I guess common sense should have told me deleting SureType lists even though I have a SureType device would not be a good idea.

I downloaded and ran MaxMem and everything went smoothly. Until I hooked my phone up to the computer.DM reinstalled everything in the OS I had deleted. I couldn't control what was being installed in the OS so basically I'm right back where I started.

Yeah that's one of the problems. If your like me who only uses DM to upgrade to different OS's, then all you have to do is ignore. But if you're adding/removing applications or themes through DM then yeah.

    I just installed MaxMem.
I thought it would tell me the names of the modules it was about to delete, but it did not.
Before I trust it to delete stuff, is the list of CODs in each category documented anywhere?

Yea, I just installed and ran maxmem on my about three or four days ago on my BB 8100. After I did, I erased everything it had in the program, now I'm I'm using multitap to type this message. I have to copy and paste my passwords in. I can't lock my phone, because I can't input my password. Basically I'm screwed I don't know how to fix it, lol! )

Ok I used Maxmem to delete the things I didn't want on my BB. Worked fine for me. Can I now delete Maxmem app without causing any problems?

Just do a backup before removing anything. If anything goes wrong, even thought I doubt it. Just do a restore and you will be fine.

No backup and restore dosnt work for the things the program erases. If it did then their wouldn't be a program to download to delete all the things in the program. Duh!
Atleast I got a new phone for doing it, for free from the company, lol. =]

To all who want to try this program

    BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!!

If you don't want to mess around with your BB. I highly suggest to do this manually

This program will and can cause issue. Small or large, its a great program but caution must be needed for those that are not savvy enough
