| New Gmail issue, not the forwarding issue
So, now I'm getting something odd and annoying. If someone sends me a new email from Gmail, I receive it. However, if someone replies to me...I get notified that I have a new email, but when I open it, it just say's... "On 6/26/07, Bob wrote: (Insert whatever I wrote that the person receiving the email replied to)" So, I get what I sent them when THEY reply but I don't get what their reply is anywhere. Huh??? Anyone have any ideas? Much thanks. |

Yeah, this issue is getting so annoying too. My BB buzzes with a new message, I open it...OOoo, it's an important email response...and now I have to go to a computer and log in to Gmail to read it cause it isn't in my BB. Errrr, could it have anything at all to do with the fact that I don't delete my gmail and have over 2270 emails in my gmail account?

UPDATE: This appears to only happen when it's a Gmail client responding to my Gmail account. So, if someone with a Yahoo account replies, I get their reply. If someone with a Gmail account replies, I just get the notification that they replied but not the message.

This is happening on my blackberry (7290) as well. I think the reason this is happening is because Google changed around the code they use behind the scenes of their email program and BIS isn't able to read it. I don't know when this will be addressed because both RIM and Google need to be in sync. This was probably done because of the new Events feature that Gmail just released, they needed to rewrite their code. It sucks, I just downloaded Gmail for Mobile and use it to read my messages now. I know it defeats the purpose but hopefully its temporary. |

I thought I was the only one who is having this problem. This just happened to me yesterday. However, the problem seems to occur not only when you receive a reply from Gmail clients (Gmail to Gmail), but also other providers (wife's work email to my Gmail). It doesn't always happen all the time though. Btw mine is 7290. Hopefully the problem will go away soon.

Yeah I had this problem happen earlier today too. I got around it by using the GMail App to read the message.
