p.s. for those who are having trouble finding stations that work go to shoutcast.com for a listing. all have been successful for me (except AAC obviously). make sure you are putting in the correct link. first open the channel in winamp and then right click and choose 'view file info'. at the top you will see the link. copy/paste that link into the program.
I'm sorry I must have missed your post right before I put my post in there. I do have a question for you. I was able to get to the shoutcast site on my phone and went into winamp and can click on the radio stations but I have the pearl 8100, when you say right click.. I only have a menu button and for some reason, having difficulty finding the "view file info" portion.. Is there any way you can step me through this. I am sorry for being a bit slow on this one.

Well on the winamp on your computer, once you get a low quality radio station working, highlight it, press alt+f3, and then copy that web (ip) address with the h*ttp ://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx to the player.

    Hope this helps.

Re: new free streaming radio program

I am trying this on a 7130c and I do have an EDGE connection. I could not get it to play more than 5 seconds for any of the stations that works. After the 5 seconds, it stops playing and I see the both directions areas indicating data being received by the bb. Even after 1 minute it is the same.

Any body have any news/talk stations that work for this player? I have tried wbap (the one I used on radiobee) and it doesn't seem to work.

The following stations all work on my Pearl. As with Radiobee, just because I get it to work, it may not work for you. Where you are has a great deal to do with whether or not a particular URL will work in your area. I am in Northern California, near the Sacramento area. Under station names where I have listed more than one URL, try them until you find the one that streams best for your device.

If you have a request, just pin me at pin:23e01c6d and I'll see what I can find for you. I usually spend 1 day a week cruising stations. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
