I have my MP3's loaded in folders under a Music folder that's on the root of my SD card, and play them with BB's Media Player using relative MU3 playlists in the BlackBerry\music folder.

Your Media Player is really nice. I'd like to be able to see the cover art like the BB Player, but having the full list of songs when playing a folder is great!

I was playing a folder - \Music\Billy Joel\Piano Man - and used the Save Playlist command, gave the playlist a name (no .MU3), but the file didn't save. Is that because I'm not in the default BB Music folder (\BlackBerry\music)?

Does this player pause and pass phone calls through if a call comes in while you're listening to music?

    anyone know?

Re: New: FREE media player - need BETA testers!!!

1st off, so far the new version seems to be working great, thanks again!

One error... when I try the "n" and "p" key, they work fine. However, if I implement shuffle, they don't work Even if I turn shuffle off, they still don't work. Stopping the music, then starting from the beginning of my song list and "n" and "p" start to work again (don't know if next should work in shuffle, but I'd think it would simply skip the current song, and play the next, random song)

Suggestion... could you eventually implement text scrolling for longer song titles?

Also, as I mentioned above, I'd love if the physical pause button on my headphone cord wouldl work in pausing the music... it's a great feature to be able to simply hit a button on the cord and have the music pause, then hit it again to start the music back up... works with built in MP3 player.

Thanks again for an excellent product!

    .94 version
FYI - Hitting the N or P too fast can result n multiple songs playing at the same time. Not allowing call interface at prompt results in prompt after phone calls without the app running. I do believe that is what happend. Will check with next call.
Other than that, I am enjoying this player much more than the stock one. With the bugs worked out this is sure to be a must have. Good work!

Yup. After a call the xplayer shows up open. This will need some work. Another item is scrolling the grey hilite bar on a playlist...how do you select that song for play? I can only go next song

    I second the equalizer.

I'd love to test this program out once video is supported, and I hope you'll implement full screen mode.
