New Beta Application: BlackBerryGuy

Hello BlackBerry Users!

We are excited to announce the launch of our new application, appropriately called TheBlackBerryGuy

The BlackBerryGuy application was designed to work hand in hand with our BLACKBERRY SUPPORT/MEMBERSHIPS, however, that doesn’t mean that you need to be a member of the BlackBerryGuy in order to take advantage of some of the features.

Here are some of the features within the BlackBerryGuy application:

Sign Up For A Clinic
You have the ability to sign up for a clinic straight through your device. And for those of you who are not local and able to come to a clinic in Nashville, never you fear. We also have Web Seminars!

Help Desk
Ever wished you had your own “BlackBerry guru” that you could contact with just the click of a button? Then you are in luck. When using the Help Desk, your question is immediately submitted to our Support Department so that we can get the issue resolved for you quickly!

Tip Of The Week
Every week a new “tip and trick” will appear, possibly teaching you something new that you didn’t know your BlackBerry could do!

Sign Up For A Membership
Like what you see? Ready to get started? You can sign up for a membership right from your device without having to spend time on a phone call (unless you want to hear our voice) or having to find a computer!

Productivity Suite
The Productivity Suite is where all of the following application download links are located:

BlackBerry.com WAP site (quick launch)

Opera Mini

Google Maps

BBLight
BBMessenger

*Denotes a pay for download application.

Once you have downloaded the above applications onto your device, you can access them directly from the Productivity Suite, which means you can hide all of those icons on your homescreen and keep it a little "cleaner".

Do you think this is an Opera challenge, TMOBILE challenge or BBGuy Application problem?

I tried on a 7250, and it seemed to connect.

As of right now, no it does not. However that is in the works for the non-beta release.

There was an issue with battery life being effected last week, but we figured out that was due to our server pretty much pinging the application every 10 minutes, which should now be resolved.
