I have the "zip" file but can't seem to upload it with the app loader, its still giving me "There is an XML syntax error on line 1 " ... I downloaded the file from where you guys posted it but i can seem to load it... am i doing something wrong?... I havent deleted all my service books yet if that makes a difference but I would rather not have to do that because im on BES also and putting it back on can be a pain...
Any advice as to why I can't seem to load this file on my phone? I have an 8800c.

    Thanks!!

Please be very careful installing a zip file of service books to your BlackBerry. You could lose everything you have on it.

Please be carful loading Service Books, or anything at all for that matter, to your BlackBerry. You could lose everything on your BB. Please back up first and be aware of the risks.

Unfortunately seems ya can't just use TCP stack with those... so I'll stick to Yak-On! for now.

It's a shame we got this junk coming from RIM.

AIM works on T-Mobile using 8800 with OS 4.2

I don't think any of the other carriers have the correct service books yet. After using AIM for a little bit, I'm not all that impressed, and I think JiveTalk is better.

How do you get them to work? Like when I try AIM it says to go to blackberry.com/aim and it takes me to do the same place I download it, same with the MSN messenger and the Yahoo! Messenger how can I make them work?!

And here I was all excited that WLM would even support my Live.com address right out of the box. Oh well, I can wait a little while longer.

We are all having the same problem no one has the service books. I found only way to get them. Someone who has blackberry versions of yahoo, msn live messenger, icq and aim and are actively using them can back up there service books and post it. Then the users who do not have the service books can do a restore of just the service book piece and wala blackberries with all the services. Somone posted something similar on another board for yahoo on cingular and that's been working great ever since I did it. The question is to find someone willing to try it for the rest of us who don't have it don't have all of these.
