We are all a little disappointed...to have the keys to the car but it has no battery! So seeing a post pop up about the clients Give us hope....but hope denied when its not answering our question of when we can USE the key!

I think there is a little mis-understanding here... I was responding to the very first post on this thread, not the one right above mine.

To those who appreciate this post and those who don't appreciate it. relax about "multiple" threads people, Is it really going to bother you sleeping at night? So many times threads got reposted with info I never knew of before, this is the reason we are on this site.

    Cheers,

I'm quite relaxed lol. It's just a PITA for those of use who search for certain topics, and have to go thru 10 different threads.

Oh, and I work at night so sleeping is out of the question

No, no confusion. Dont want to 'hijack' this thread, throwing it off track. It's just good to help people before telling them to search for it. We're all here for the common good and when someone makes a repeat post it doesnt hurt to take the extra minute to type a response even if its been given over and over. On the 'other' blackberry threads they're rude to their users but here the community is extremely helpful and very positive and doesnt mind responding to similar threads.

Hm... my DM stated BB ICQ software as "Unrecognized, will be removed" when I removed one of the themes I was playing with...

Below is from another user and forum and seems legit. Doesnt say anything about only supporting the 8800 or anything like that.

    Hi Carlos,

We just received communication pertaining to MSN/AIM/ICQ that you referenced earlier.

We have officially announced these services but they have not become a production service yet.

Currently there is no ETA of when it will be released and is dependant on your wireless service provider accepting it.

Please check with your wireless service provider for up-to-date information on this issue.

    Have a nice day Carlos.

    Respectfully,

    Jill

    Take a look...
    "meant for 8800"
I can try forever on my Pearl if that's true (BTW, I failed...)
