Need recommendation on Airline & Hotel programs

I travel every week and am looking for a program that will check flight schedules and lookup hotels. I had been using Worldmate Professional Edition on my Treo, and transferred the license over to the Blackberry 8830. Unfortunately, the Blackberry version of the software does not measure up to what was being offered on the Treo. Things that are missing which greatly reduce the value of this program are:

    1. No ability to set up itineraries. With the Treo I could set up my travel a month in advance.
    2. Cannot transfer anything from the app to the bb calendar. On the Treo flight schedules could be copied directly to the calendar.
    3. Tried using the flight status screen to set up flights into the future, just so that I could keep track of them. This won't work because it only allows flights to be set up 2 days in advance.
    4. When using the Flight Schedules to look for flights, there is no option to transfer the selected flight to the Flight Status screen, which is really annoying. So if you use flight schedules to look up possible flights, then buy a ticket for one of them, you have to write down the information and reenter it in the flight status screen - but that can only be entered two days before the flight. Not of much use if you are scheduling stuff out weeks in advance.
    5. Didn't see gate number on the flight status screen - this might be my oversight, but I couldn't find it.

I sent Mobimate a letter asking if they would be doing any updates on their software for the blackberry. The response I got was:

At the moment there is no scheduled release of a new version of WorldMate Professional Edition for BlackBerry with more features.
We are always improving our products and appreciate your feedback.
I will forward your comments to the appropriate department. As I said, this program was worth the price on the Treo, but is very lacking on the blackberry. At this point it looks like I wasted my money on their annual subscription, and will not renew it in the future.

I have browsed the forums looking for any programs that would allow one to search flight schedules, select flights, create itineraries from these flights that can be saved, and check the flight status. Are there any programs that youi can recommend?

Here's a flight app...not sure if it's what you're looking for since I don't travel often so I haven't had the chance to use it.

Looks pretty cool and it's free so it's worth a try...

    Good luck

I dont think that there's any other program out there that compares to worldmate at the moment.

I would agree when running the application on the Treo or a PPC. It is pretty crippled on the bb, IMO.
