Question MyAlarm vs. Keybaord lock 8130

Recently fell in love it MyAlarm how it has so many options, and its loud/annoying enough to wake me up.

I also like the AutoLock app that automatically locks the screen after a certain time to help stop my pocket dials (mute standby just didn't work for me, and I like that if someone were to find my phone alone, they would have my information be the first thing they see)

unfortunately I don't think they work in harmony.

The alarm goes off but it will not let me unlock the screen with the * and green key to turn it off, the only way to turn it off is a battery pull. And while that is annoying enough to wake me up its a pain.

now i know autolock can be set to not activate with the phone plugged in, but sometimes i forget that and awake to a quick battery pull, replace, then turn on my alarm again for a bit of a snooze before i really have to get up.

does anyone know of any work-arounds / solutions or suggestions to my problem?

Get BBAlarms Pro. It's not free but is worth the $15 and you can set unlimited alarms and they work with the auto lock feature. I had MyAlarm. Nice free app but BBAlarms Pro got the program and the price right.

Jaaa, jaaa. I'fe seen dis before. Jou apearrr to haf a Shleeping Dizorder und dis is un BlakcBerry fourm. I suggest jou try HelpINeedAShrinkFast.com instead!

(Have you tried using a password instead of just a key lock? If you keep the password simple enough to enter with one hand, you protect your information from prying eyes. BTW - they NEVER return a BlackBerry!)

I seem to run into a similar issue with password encryption on my device. It's quite unfortunate

The first 3 alarms usually work, then my device trainwrecks after that.

Battery pull seems to be the only resolution.

Maybe its something to do with the alarms I set are within one minute of each other, I dunno.

    8130 running 4.3 OS

    aren't you using 4.5 OS??

I am using 4.5 on pearl,
    and I have the solution!!

after doing * + call button

do alt + back button to navigate to alarm program.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

No, only 4.3 I'm on sprint. I didn't know 4.5 was out yet. I did install the trial of bb smart alarm pro. It works great, I'm strongly considering buying. Although when I try to sign in I type * + phone and it gets stuck until I hit the back key. That sends the program into snooze. Its a minor inconvenience but at least I don't have to fumble with the battery door anymore. The same thing happens with auto security lock.
