Can't get the experience of doing it without trying. It is very easy to do, and if you get stuck on any step, there are plenty of people here that would be more than happy to walk you through it. I have added countless applications, and finding that I don't like or need them, I remove them. It's a trial and error process. That's half the fun of the BB. Start trying it out - especially if you have a data plan - there are some great applications out there you will learn to love (and then wonder how you ever lived without them).

jllama's link is a great place to look around - you will see all kinds of programs and what people think about them. My personal favorite is a list that JerryD put together. It contains a lot of over-the-air links to applications (must trys: bbweather, beyond411, google maps to name a few) and can be found here.

NOTE: didn't mean to hijack, just thought it was important for him to start exploring; sorry

    Rodolfo,

Great little app. It will be very handy to many people, I'm certain. Thanks for your effort. For deep sleepers, the higher frequencies will wake ANYONE up, much like a smoke detector.

There is a little jerkiness when scrolling but that seems to be the case with all things Pearl.

    Thanks again! Muchas gracias!

You download the file to your computer. (Dont have to install the alx and cod file to computer) Unzip it. Go to desktop manager. Go into Application Loader. Click add and look for the alx file and click open. Then click next and the next screen will show you the program your installing. Then click finish. It will install the program and the BB will most likely reboot itself after the download. So dont worry about that wait til it loads up again and your program should be there. BTW your missing out on alot by not installing any programs on your BB, so hopefully this helps you get started.

Zbats, mofoj0e. Do you solve the problem selecting the minutes field? I cant reproduce your problem...
What is your OS version? I can try to compile with an older JDK.
shayne63, just try new apps, this is fun! Hardly an app could harm your BB.
demorrel, Im very happy that you found this app usefull!
    johnio, download it here: http://lhurtado.vtrbandaancha.net

I think I'm using v4.2.0.64 on the Pearl. And no, it's still not working...
