ahhh I knew I was doing something wrong thanks so much. One more thing, sorry to bother you. I noticed that if I do a "force exit" the alarm does not seem to turn on, is this the intended behaviour? Yet when I leave the app "active" (just close) it will work. Can you clarify? Thanks in advance

    Re: My Alarm Application

Ok, got the new version installed. Had to uncheck it in DM then rechecked and loaded it. Seemed to work for me. Only thing I can't get working is the audio file tones instead of Beep. I can do the change, getting to the choices from store, then samples then ringtones, but when I choose one it wont play when I select it from the menu. It plays beeps fine but not tones.

How do I get it to play music or one of my ringtones on the phone, or will it only use ones stored on the sd card?

    Thanks

    Hi,
you cant play tones in examples folders, I think its because this tones are copywrighted (??) by RIM.
but if you upload any mp3 or midi to internal memory or sd it will work.

    Re: My Alarm Application

The app must be running in background to be able to know the time and then alert. Force Exit is to completely quit the app, so it dont be running, then you can uninstall it (to upgrade, of course ) without restart your BB.

Connect your BB to your PC using USB cable and use Media Manager (in Desktop Manager) to upload from PC to BB your mp3s.
Or you can use your BB as Mass Storage Disk, and copy files directly fom windows.

to do it from itunes but was told there was not enough space????
I have to play with it when I get some time.
