Sorry to quote myself, menu>close does exit the media player with no reboot. From the looks of the results so far OS 4.3 or higher is required for this to work correctly. Any 4.2 people want to chime in as to your results?

I have 4.2.2.166 and I get a message box that says, "The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item?" And it gives me a yes or no option.

Really? Hmm, that's odd. How about pressing the link to the station you want with the trackball, then try the red end key. That might work for you.

(my space doesn't work for this, lol. I wonder if its a QWERTY vs SureType thing or GSM vs CDMA)

Is there anybody else that has an 8800 4.5 ATT that can't get this thing to work? I don't even see a "listen" button on their site to click on.

I am also getting the unsupported media error.
    T-Mobile, 8100, 4.2
I have yet to read anyone that has it running that has had this error.

Okay after click on some previous posts in this thread and pulling device details from various users Avatars (never knew about the "device details" button lol)

I thought I came to a conclusion that it was 4.3 and above only.

Working devices (a few for example)

    BB: 8130 OS: 4.3.0.97
    BB: 8830 OS: 4.3
    BB: 8310 OS: 4.5.0.46
    BB: 9000 OS: 4.6.0.80

I am stumped. I will try and see if I can get the developer to swing on over to PinStack and help us out with this for those who can't get it to work.

    **Edit
removed shftatsix and dallas1125 quotes, they sent me PIN messages with the current OS, its 4.5 not 4.2 on both devices.

To find the URL of the streaming server, use URL Snooper. Bring up URL Snooper then launch the link to the audio stream on the stations web page. The snooper will tell you the URL to the streaming server. There will probably be more than one server. I have used the .asx link.

I just posted this over at the developer's forum...

    Oele, PinStack needs your Help!!

    Please see
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ad.php?t=78311

We have users that can get this to work and some that can not get it to work. Various models of BlackBerrys, various Operating Systems on the devices, and various carriers. We can't seem to figure out what is keeping some users from using this really cool web radio service.

    Thanks in advance.

    thanks mcm180!

I have a feeling this may only be useable if you have 4.3 OS and above (still waiting on confirmation from dallas1125), even if that was the case, 4.5 OS users should have no problems, so I am still confused there.

I need to step away from this for a bit. I'll check back.

Sorry everyone, I forgot to update my profile. I am running 4.5.0.37 not 4.2.1.107. And yes, it does seem that you need 4.3 or higher.

APN settings... I wonder if this would affect anything for GSM users?
