    Mini Monitor

Just saw this posted on a BlackBerry Cool RSS feed...I searched but hadn't seen it posted here.

"Josep just spotted an outstanding new program called MiniMoni, which gives you a nice, detailed report about your BlackBerry data usage. As someone who's been known to go over the limit a few times, I can definitely appreciate the usefulness of this app, even if it's just in beta. If you're in the same boat, you can download MiniMobi for free at http://www.ehnert.net/MiniMoni/MiniMoni.jad, or onto your desktop from here. I'd really like to see all the kinks in this one worked out to make this a fully-polished product"

I installed on my 8300, works well so far. Charts usage, and can even give you a warning if your approaching your set data limit. You can also create a logbook and save it to your SD as well.

I have Verizon - and was told [though I'm not sure the truth of it] when I got my BB that they only offered one data plan - which is what I have.. and I was under the assumption it was unlimited? Anyone know?

    Re: Mini Monitor

The plan for $45 is unlimited data. Was told that there is another plan for $30 that IS NOT unlimited. And tethering is $15. Hope this helps!

With Verizon, you can either get the $45 plan unlimited, the $30 unlimited, or the $25 10MB plan. Both of the unlimited plans are limited to 5GB of usage. Making sure you're not nearing that limit is why many people, like myself, will find this application very useful.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't been able to get this application to work. It's not reading any data transferred.

    Re: Mini Monitor

How can Verizon market unlimited data if their plans are limited to 5gb? Its not truely unlimited if they do that...
