| Maybe Someone will know.
I am trying to help a friend find an app that will allow IM via their text service and not a data plan. I know it makes no since to have a BB without a data plan but anyway. I know I have seen posts about such an app but for the life of me can't remember where or what it was called. Any help in this would be appreciated. |

It was pre-loaded on the 8100 that I had before I upgraded to my 8320. That was less than two years ago.

Yeah, I used to use OZ Instant Messaging, but that was disabled a looong time ago. That was the only IM application I knew of that used text messaging instead of data and I didn't like it as much as I didn't have unlimited text messaging at the time. Now, it wouldn't bother me as much since I do have it. Hmm, I'm sure there are ones around.
