Lypp (low cost calling for Canadian BlackBerry users)
Just a heads up that we are live at http://lypp.ca.
Our service uses Instant Messaging on your BlackBerry (I like the Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger options since they're nicely integrated, but BeeJive is great too), to create calls that are always incoming (i.e. the system calls you first then connects you so if you have unlimited incoming minutes you don't pay anything to your provider). You can also do instant conference calls and upload your contacts to dial by name directly through the IM interface.
Our Lypp 250 plan is currently $9.95 per month (250 minutes of calling to anywhere in Canada or the US with 100 free minutes if you sign up by Oct 31).
Here's an entry from our blog showing how much I've been saving:
If you're in the US you can still sign up at http://lypp.com but the service is more about conference calling than saving money, since I think only Sprint offers unlimited incoming minutes and you guys have nationwide calling plans by default.
Happy to answer any questions from the community. Feel free to PM me any time.
PS: I'm Dan Gibbons, co-founder of Lypp here in rainy Vancouver.

Lypp - Unlimited Mobile Calling in North America
Hey guys, just a quick note that Lypp is now (quietly) offering Unlimited Mobile Calling in North America.
The Mobile Unlimited plan is currently $59.95 per month. Unlimited Calling to anywhere in Canada or the US. (Sign-up before April 1 and receive a discount of $20 off the first month. In order to qualify you must keep the service for at least 3 months.)
We are not doing any marketing on the site as yet, the only mention of it that you will find is on the Lypp.ca and Lypp.com sign-up page.
As the CEO and co-founder I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
