Hey! I am listening of mutual funds investment everywhere from friends to colleagues. I am getting interested in doing some investment myself. Where can I found regular newsletters to learn about best mutual funds and fund managers? I am thinking of subscribing an authenticated publisher. All suggestions are welcome.

Mutual funds are for your grandfather and the lazy. Even the best, such as Ken Heebner and his CGI Focus Fund are taking losses in this market. Do a little homework and check out ETFs. Play like the pros do when they long/short a sector. There are low and no cost ones and even ones that are solely for shorting (reverse etfs). They trade intra day like a stock. The only disadvantage, imo, is if you lose money, you only have yourself to blame and for some people that is too much pressure. Some prefer to lose their money and be able to point fingers (though the money is still gone either way).

To learn about the above (and you can slide over the mutual fund section if you wish):

There are a no. of websites that provide newsletters and services for investment professionals and individual investors to discover best mutual fund managers and mutual funds for them. I use fundmojo.com myself. It has helped me to achieve private equity return without hefty fees.
