I downloaded a program which says it's for S60 devices... what is that Nokia? Symbian?
Anyway, it's just one .jar file.
is there some way to load it on my BB 8830? I've come across guides which state you can convert midlets to .cod .alx files, but i think the instructions say i need both a .jar and .jad to make a .cod / .alx - i only have a .jar

    thanx.

Oh my god. Ive done it! Got Pipes on and working using Desktop manager and a downloaded jad/jar file on my pearl.

    Instructions Step by step

Download the jad/jar file onto your desktop.
Check it has the right extension by right click and check properties on the file. The download might need unziping.
Connect your blackberry to Desktop Manager
Open your Media Manager application in Desktop Manager
In the right hand windowMake a new folder in My Blackberry/Device Memory/Games
Using the right side of your media manager copy your JAD/JAR files into the folder.

You must follow EXACTLY these instructions

Open the Media application on the blackberry
press the right button next to the trackball
    Click explore
    Track down to Device Memory
press the right button next to the trackball
    Click Open
Track down to your /Games Folder
press the right button next to the trackball
    Click Open
    Select the JAR file
    Select "Download"

The Application will load on to your blackberry and is noe available in your application menu.

I've also found using this method that I can load to my media card games/HTML files/Text files/PDF and read them but you must the EXPLORE,OPEN menus to see them otherwise the pearl does not see the files.

    Best of luck!"

I can't see the jar files in media manager. It won't recognize the extension
