That sounds like the most logical explaination for this. Check them out on your pc and see what the deal is.

Thought about doing that, but here is the problem...

Does texting "stop hyper" just stop the text noticiations or actually stop the service?

I went and emailed thier customer service, so guess will wait back to hear from them.

This better not appear on my phone bill, or if it does, better be reversed.

Jamster is cool. I've got some cool tones from them before I got my Blackberry. I haven't used them tho since I've had a berry.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~jamster is evil. N8 make sure you catalouge all text you send to them. I had them and they charged me for three diffrent plans. After I finally got them stopped (took 6 stop messages) 3 months later they started charging me. My suggestion, call your service provider and tell them to stop the charge immediatly. It worked for me. Now if I want something like that I actually have to get Tmo to take the block off that service.

    Thats what I am saying.

What I think happened is the previous person who had this number signed up for it, and never cancelled it, and it has since transferred through to me.

Numbers, after cancellation, typically go into a "black hole" for 90 days, before they are able to get reused. I think that you got a recycled number. You're probably right then N8.

Re: Jamster.Com? How Did You Get On My Phone?

On phone with TMobile right now.

First they tried to say it was me and that I started it on the 9/7.

Told them that is impossible. I got this number the day that I got the Pearl, which was the 12th, so there was no way possible that it was me.

So, they are in the process of changing the number and crediting back the 6x that it tried to charge from 9/7/06 to today.

Well, a lesson for you all to learn. Watch your bill after you activate a new number.

N8, I got this same message today. The SAME EXACT MESSAGE. Have you had any issues since this post. What exactly was the resolve? Having to call carrier customer service or sending the text to stop?

Call Tmobile ASAP. Like I said, there were like 5 or so charges already on mine by the time I called them.

Have them look and find out the date that it was originally purchased.

Are you like me and got a new number when you purchased the 8100 or did you port your number?

I wound up getting a new number after I called TMobile, just because it wasn't my name number and I demanded an unrecycled number.

No problems since then. You can probably call TMO also and have them not allot ANY text messaging purchases. I am sure they have someway to do that.
