First off I have to thank both groups (BBSmart & Empower) for the email enhancement programs. I have downloaded both and they are excellent.I didn't want to go into which is better. I just wanted to thank both groups for outstanding work....they were well overdue and well designed. Thank you

the world is so huge.. with so many users
there is space for more than 2 softs .. with varied usage ,appeal .. and of course price

everyone has different needs, different preferences...
for some a soft being free counts for some thats not a big deal ...

both cater to same purposes.. empower having just a few extra add ons ...

may both group of developers get the due they deserve

Our vision isn't just email though - we've just recently teamed up with some extremely talented blackberry dev's and are soon going to bringing you awesome replacements for most of the applications you are used to on the blackberry. Calendar, tasks, you name it. You're going to see it soon, oh so functional and oh so shiny...

While I think the email application is pretty useful and nice, I must say the standard BB apps are already far better than the "other" mobile platforms I've tried to use. WM anyone??

I have to say, after trying empower and BBsmart, version 2 of empower is pretty incredible! ANd it doesn't have that "reversion lag" that BBsmart has (it reverts to the original email before you move to the next message; at it least it did on Pearl).
Version 2 just came out last week, and, after running the trial, I just bought a license. VERY impressed with it!

eZainny, that is a big goal! Not saying that the BB apps are lacking b/c I also feel that they are better than ones for other platforms. But it would be cool to have even better options! I wish you guys the best of luck and will definitely keeps my eyes open for what's coming out...
