Greetings everyone,

I was reading through the forums and i noticed a post that mentioned Ramble IM as being a data based IM application. Is this really true because for me being on a cingular network having a unlimited SMS is not a option for me but being able to use my unlimited data plan is.

I took a look at the link for the FAQs of ramble but hearing it from a user that has used it for a period of time and who has seen their bill is a different story.

I don't believe it works with Cingular sice they don't have the service books for aim type IMs.

Explain the service books to me please seeing how i am new to bb i am curious and is it a requirement for a provider to have these?

there is no service books for ramble as it is a 3rd party software program. just go here http://wireless.sra.com/ramble/ and download it, unzip it and install it on your BB via desktop manager/usb cable. PIN me if you need help.

PS: verichat, im+, web messenger all uses data as well
