I got that one , the problem is that the 4.2 OS is not supported and they dont have an update as of now for the device, I dont know if there is a link on the Pearl that will do the same ? I remember that if I selected the word download and choose show link it would give me the correct web add for the software..

Why would you want the OZ program? Its slow, it uses SMS and only lets you log into one account? IMHO its not worth the effort.

JiveTalk has MSN, but it is not free, works a ton better.....
If memory serves IM+ does too, again, not free...
I guess you get what you pay for with IM clients...
I am not sure if Yak-On supports MSN... although its not free either.

What happened to the IM+ people? Haven't seen or heard from them lately. I wish they would fix the GTalk issue. Been working w/ support, then every communication just stopped.
I'm about ready to ditch it!

New version today. But I'm still waiting for them to wake up and integrate with BB profiles.

i "think" that the Oz program is only for tmobile, but if u do have it, you can utilize it, it uses sms to transmit and receive messages.

This is just another vote for jivetalk. I've had it on my sprint 8830 since I got it and purchased the device license. I stay logged into all of my accounts all day and the app has never crashed on me. It has a few really nice features which were just added. Chat bubbles, auto away when holstered, multiple audio alerts, quick switch between conversations, emoticon support. In the future they are even adding support for buddy icons! Anyway, that's my 2c.

Hey, for those who are continuously using JiveTalk, Yak-On, IM+ (or equivalent programs) all day, how much data does it eat up? Does it only cost you when you send/receive messages?

    Thanks!

The amount of data trasmitted and received depends on how often you chat. If you chat all day, it is constantly sending and receiving bytes. If your simply logged on, and not chatting, the only bytes trasnfered reflect those buddies who sign off and on. I have never personally logged how many bytes I have used in any given day.

Thought I'd add my 2 cents. I've been using JiveTalk for about 3 weeks. I have personal IM accounts and business IM accounts on all providers. This program was worth every penny I paid for it. Not only am I fully connected to my clients all day, but it also allows you to email the chats to yourself, like keeping notes during a phone call. Now there's no more searching for pen and paper. Also, keeps the chats until you delete them, so you can reveiw them for the info that way too, even if you log off the service in between.

Does anyone know if RIM's Yahoo! messenger will work with AT&T now, and if so if it uses SMS or Data?
    Thanks.
