I saw on my Blackberry browser a new link on the RIM website to download the AIM client. I downloaded and it works fine.

Do you have your TCP settings set in either Ramble or your BB options? What carrier are you on?

The same error is happening for me too. "Invalid Connection String - could not open tunnel - max timeout" or last time it said "failed". No idea what I'm doing wrong...

If what i have read so far is true, then Jivetalk is the best option if you are a TMO user with unlimited internet access because chat messages doesnt count as SMS. I am also enjoying the fact that you can open mulitple chat clients.. something that OZ couldnt do. Thanks for the tips !

Re: Instant Messaging Software (IM clients)

Question, Does anyone knows how to get the OZ software for 8700G or even better for the pearl ? Im using an 8700g with 4.2 OS and it is not letting me install it .... and I was thinking that perhaps the one that is used for the pearl might work ??

usually on a T-mobile phone there is a bookmark that will take you to the download page. The T-Mobile Pearl I had prompts you to download it on restart if it is not installed.
