    Is there any third party applications for the RIM 7290..that can do SMS..I have yahoo.But that uses a web browser and i dont have that..I got the T-Mobile Im i log in threw aim and I wait for a long time still nothing happens..I use it again but threw yahoo same thing..So im basically looking for a third party software that i can put it threw sms..or not a browser type

    wow...there is a first, someone actually looking for a program that DOES use SMS and not browser based...

    You can use yahoo messenger thru sms...go to www.mobile.yahoo.com

    AOL also works through SMS, but I know nothing about it aside from the AIM app that was embedded in my Moto V600. (It ran over SMS, but this was in the background and not readily detectable to the user.)

    I use Ramble IM for AIM and the new free YAHOO IM that RIM now supports its the best Yahoo IM iv3e seen tis exactly like the PC based one witht he exception of send/.receive files
