| Re: IM+ All-in-One Messenger v.5.0 beta-testing
I have found a bug or two with the MySpace IM and alerts, nothing major though. For example if you get a new friend alert. It first says something like, and I am not quoting, "new friend alert" then a minute or two later it says "no new friend alert" and keep repeating both. Then after you go to MySpace and respond to the alerts, IM+ stops sending the alerts but the "Alert" stays under the MySpace section and doesnt go away unless you close and restart IM+. |

| BETA 5.0.3 is available
In new beta version 1. All notifications can be customized in one window. 2. Notifications about incoming messages and online alerts now have an IM+ logo 3. For 4.2 OS BlackBerry devices a feature has been added that allows to set custom sounds for notifications and alerts. Please share how useful this feature is. Instead of enable/disable or set custom, would you rather have, a list of sounds to choose from or a custom sound for each notification. Please share your thoughts on how you wish the sounds to work in the application. 4. Setting shortcuts feature has been added. What notifications should be present here and what key combinations should be used for them? 5. Page up/Page down for contact list has been added (in list mode only) 6..You may now scroll up and down even when you are focused on the notification icon up on the top of the screen. 7. An option to jump up directly to notification has been added. 8. A floating message with the sender’s name and the message appear beside the notification icon. 9. Fixed the issue with sounds on BlackBerry 7100 10. You may view the clock with the current time and the battery charge up on the top of the window 11. I downloaded the new beta and I like the improvements. Something that I want to mention though is that I missed a friend request on the app. I logged in on my desktop and it popped up right away. I know that there is the feature to add a buddy but am I supposed to be able to accept add requests from IM+?

So far so good with the new version and I like the batttery and clock. The custom sounds work well and is fine the way it is but a little hard to find at first. Some might not know where to look and it took me a few minutes. I did notice a few bugs: The "yahoo id/password" cant log back on issue is still there. I think this might be on the server side though but not sure. The battery and clock dont show when your in a chat window but show everywhere else. |

How can I get rid of the Missed events? I also noticed some bugs that mine was having are fixed after installing the update to 5.0.3. I cant wait for the new one to come out that will fix the battery life issue. |

I do love the way it Looks, much Better than JT but that is the least of my worries, the looks that is, the thing that I like the least so far I guess is how much I keep disconecting.I have disconnected multiple times today, I used JT while it was beta so I'm really used to it, so I'll have to use this one longer to be able to make a fair comparasson. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

I have definately found I huge difference in my battery life! I had JT until yesterday when I decided to give IM+ a try and I did keep JT 24/7 and what a difference it has made my battery won't last! I wouldn't want to be on the road and have IM+ on like I always do with JT. Also maybe I have the wrong information, but I was under the impression that I could get JT when my 14 day period is up for 19.99$ no way would I pay 40 or anything close to it, there is already a program for 49.99$ with myspace im also, I forgot the name it's on crackberry.com store.I am new to IM+ so I will keep it longer to see if I like it better than JT plus it's nice to be able to help them develope a product! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

This may have been mentioned, but how do I close current conversations? In my old im+ there was an end conversation option, but can't find it on my current.
