Victoria, I have several 3rd-party apps running on my 8700g which access the BB profiles! How can you say that!

Em.. now, this logging in, logging out is driving my contacts crazy...

i can't log into any services... it hangs up for like 5 mintues. However my bes is going through my companies internet and we have many ports blocked.. I usually like to use port 80 for im ports or ssl. No dice... removed it.

I do really like IM+ version 5 but have a couple questions, suggestions and bug reports.


The language translator is neat. I never used it much in earlier versions but think I will more now.

The history is great. The ability to search and filter by user/date, save or email is handy.

I like the large fonts in chats and the chat graphics, nice. I also like how you can have different size fonts in the chat window and different sizes in the main window.

How do you end a "opened conversation" so it closes from the "opened conversation" section ?

Similiar to above but how do you cancel/delete "Alerts" and system messages ?

My friends "away status" dont seem to work from AIM.

I was just logged off Yahoo with the bad password issue in 5.0.1. I will send the log.

In the contacts screen when you roll the trackball on the Pearl UP it sometimes goes to the very top. It will not just scroll up to the next line. Down works fine. This seems to be hit or miss and sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Just received a new error when idle.

"Connection to AOL failed. Reason: rate limit exceeded. Please try again in a few minutes".

It keeps trying to reconnect but cant. I exited the program and restarted and its now working.

Wanted to try and get some help on a tech problem. I can see my MSN and AOL contacts but my GT contacts show offline, when in fact I can talk to them on GTalk. I have tried disconnecting from GTalk, still no go. It does say I'm connected though. First and only problem, thx again.

Hello everyone,

Currently I am running OS 4.1.0.377 on Cingular (AT&T) network. I ran the autoconfig a few times but everytime it does the same thing. Default fails, Direct fails, WAP fails, and during the first time it would say BIS-B fails as well but when it tries to connect again it would say BIS-B passed but all the others still would have a failed status.I have already sent in my requests from earlier today hoping I would get a reply by now but nothing as yet so with said on to my next question.

If there are any AT&T customers who got IM+ 5.0 beta to work on 4.1 I would like to know if you are getting the same issues as me. Also I would like to know what are your settings as well because it seems every setting that is posted here under this post is for Tmobile.

I think this program just out performed beejives product....yah I said it. This program is great and the design of the app blends well with the new style of my curve. My personal rating of beejives product 9 out of 10. This product is 10 out of 10. If you guys can work on a better price I think you may just win the title fight

I was hoping someone would figured out my problem before I did but no worries.

Apparently the for the BIS-B transport to work correctly under AT&T's network I had to switch my settings manually when prompted after running the autoconfigurator to BIS-B http port 80. Aim and Msn work fine. I haven't tried google or myspace as yet. I probably will in the morning.

I have been running 5.0 and I think its great

The downfalls for this app that it does not always stay connected to yahoo and I get the bad authorization message. At the moment I am having a hard time connecting at all. It states that it can not connect to the server. I've sent an issues log.
