Go to: blackberry.com/instantmessaging from your bb browser. All messenger applications are free and uses data rather than sms.
    ...& that's pretty much it!

Dude: welcome to the wonderful world Berry Addicts.

Get used to one thing quickly. Very little in the BB world if FREE.

The best I'm program, as I said, is not free. Try out the free apps and then try the free trial (30 days) of Jivetalk. You will love it! There are links to it all over Pinstack.

Eeeek.. Looking at my last response I understand why one shouldn't "stack" while driving!

Ok the one that's from tmobile uses SMS. If you want one for free that uses data, use the AIM from Blackberry (posted above) blackberry.com/aim

In the BB world, its very true that you get what you pay for!!! The free apps are ok, but not great. 30 for jivetalk and you can go from phone to phone with the app....its the BEST program out there, and the cheapest of the "pay" I'M programs
