I am signing onto ICQ, but getting aim.signon.timeout - If I am saying this right, aim has no connection to icq, aim is signed on but is giving out this error for ICQ, unless there is a network error and I need to remove aim then setup aim?...

Try to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Make sure you bookmark the download address so you can reinstall.

I had this same issue. You have to have a friend added to ICQ for it to work. Weird but true. Devs for Jive Talk know about it as they helped me solve it.

You may have to get someone to add you as you are not able to login. You may not need this if you already have friends but I did as I setup a new ICQ account.
