How to find streaming radio station URLs

    • Go to http://tuned.mobi
    • Search for your desired station
    • Once it opens in Windows Media Player, click on Properties
    • Copy the URL
Now you can paste this into your moodio.fm profile (or whatever you use).
Hope this is as helpful to you guys as it was to me.

Tried this. Wouldn't work. Of those in their library I've loaded, when I click on their links I get an unsupported media notice.

Phone. Says item selected can't be displayed, would I like to save item. Then when I click no, indicates unsupported media type. (Whenever I click on links for stations I've loaded).

    Ugh. It is.
You have to add the stations via PC to the website though.
Then when you go to your profile via BB, they will show up and you can play them.
You cannot add them via BB though.. you have to do it on the computer.

Well it also will not work on 4.2, as I posted in the other thread. So you may be out of luck unless you upgrade.

Thats pretty cool Brooke, thanks! I only wished moodio would work with stations that use stream the world players...I haven't had any luck with that.

    Moodio.FM

I've been using Moodio.FM for a week or so and have added quite a few stations tomy profile, some play better than others, but most of them play well. I am currently streaming, and it has been playing without interruption for 45 minutes thus far.

My current profile settings at Moodio.fm are: 44 kbps, parametric stereo and that seems to give me a fairly decent playback. Although I would like a little better quality sound. Has anyone tested other settings? I have an unlimited data plan, so data limits are not a worry. Phone is stationary on my desk, so signal and reception aren't really an issue either. I would like to stream the sound via A2DP to a set of wireless Bluetooth speakers, but the quality of sound just isn't good enough. I am wondering if bumping the kbps might help.

Any recomendations or settings to try?

[Yes, it does stream Strereo Bluetooth]

tuned.mobi is a bit odd. Last week, I clicked on the link for the station I wanted to add, and it went to an all Beatles station instead of the correct station. Today, I tried it again, thinking it might have been a goof up, and the link now goes to some other station. Neither the Beatles channel, nor the correct one. Its not even the same frequency - the station I want is 106.9 WEZX from Scranton PA, the link takes you to some station thats 92.1 or something. Very strange.
